Tekanology Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 June 2026

Tekanology is run by Joshua Kaen Bentley, operating in Australia and New Zealand. This policy covers the Tekanology website at tekanology.com, including the Journal. Each product built under Tekanology has its own policy, linked from this Legal hub.

How to reach us

For anything privacy-related, or any of the requests below, email hello@tekanology.com. A postal address is available on request.

What the site collects

Very little. There are no accounts and no sign-ups. Your information reaches us in only two ways.

If you email us. When you write to hello@tekanology.com or billing@tekanology.com, we keep your message and your email address so we can reply and keep a record of the exchange. Google (Gmail) receives that mail and Cloudflare routes it to us, so those two process it on our behalf. We use it only to correspond with you.

Anonymous visit stats. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless, and it does not follow you across other sites or build a profile of you. It shows us which pages are read and roughly where visits come from, never who you are. Because nothing is stored on your device, there is no cookie banner to click.

What the site does not do

No cookies. No advertising trackers. No profiles. No accounts. We do not sell or share your information, and we do not use it to target you.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your correspondence with us. Email hello@tekanology.com and we will take care of it, usually within a few business days.

Where your information sits

Email lives in Google's systems (Gmail) and is routed through Cloudflare. Visit stats sit with Cloudflare. Both are established providers with their own privacy terms, which govern how they handle data on our behalf.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. For anything significant, we will make the change clear on this page.

The law we follow

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, and we respect the rights those laws give you.
